We got such a great response from our limited-release offering of an anaerobic natural process from Gera Estate, so we were excited when we had the opportunity to buy from them again!
Hailing from the high-altitude forests of the Jimma (Djimma) region in western Ethiopia, Gera Estate grows their crops without the use of chemical fertilizers or insecticides. We love their focus on sustainabile growing methods, but they also support their employees by offering on-site housing, childcare & education, clean drinking water, electricity, and healthcare for all of its employees free of charge.
We kept this one light and roasted it just like our previous Ethiopia Guji, showcasing the nice blueberry and floral notes - it’s an extremely smooth brew that works as both hot coffee and also makes an excellent cold brew / iced coffee option for the hot summer days. Enjoy!!
