Our latest installment in our Decaf lineup is back to Peru, with beans sourced from the Cautivo Cooperative of Northern Peru. We admire their commitment as stewards of the land - they utilize responsible water management, environmental protection, and only use organic materials as fertilizers.
This offering is decaffeinated using the - Mountain Water Process, which is carried out at the Descamex facility in Mexico, relying on pure water sourced directly from the glaciers of the Pico de Orizaba mountain.
We roasted this one on the lighter side of medium, similar to the Decaf Colombia which it replaced. We found pleasant notes of red apple, milk chocolate, and a creamy body. We think you’ll love this decaf that doesn’t taste like decaf!
