Our first decaf option from Colombia! We were having a hard time finding a good decaf from Peru to replace the last one we stocked, so we were happy to “drink outside the box” and found this lovely Swiss Water Process (chemical-free) decaf.
These beans hail from the a collection of small family farms in the Santander Department of Colombian Andes. We roast this to a nice lighter/medium level, and it’s pretty hard to tell that this one is decaf at all: very nice sweetness, a smooth & chocolatey base, and a cherry-like top note (reminded us of lingonberry “Swedish Fish”).
This one is such a nice and smooth coffee that you might forget that it’s decaf!
