Our first Colombian coffee ever was from here - and we’re excited after several years hiatus to bring you our newest coffee from the Tolima department! Grown in the country’s central region by Asociación Grupo Asociativo de Oroductores De Café Especial Diferenciado de Tolima (ACEDGA), this is a stellar light/medium roast.
We tried to keep this as similar as possible to our former Colombia Sol Naciente, and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! It features a nice dark chocolate undertone, with nice sweetness expressed through caramel and an orangey-citrus finishing note. An added bonus: as the coffee cooled, the orange seemed to transform more into a lemon-like finish, which added some subtle complexity to this great daily drinker!
